Walking in Wuhan

From December 2010 to March 2011, Wuhan University of Technology hosted a series of Jane's Walk in China this year. There were four Jane’s Walks, and over 200 people attended. Wuhan, central China's most populated city, is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city. With over nine million people living there, a conversation about walking in the city makes perfect sense. Mr. Huang li, professor of architecture, is sponsored Jane's Walk at the university. Wuhan U has a Jane's Walk website in Mandarin. Highlights of the Wuhan Jane's Walk included walking conversations around the university campuses, the ancient city wall, on pedestrian and residential areas through the city.
